Beate and Tina has played concerts in Norway and abroad for some years, amongst others at the “Balcony concert series” at the National Opera in Oslo.

Beate Mordal is one of Norway’s greatest soprano talents. In addition to her busy career as an opera soloist in Norway and abroad, Beate is employed as a “district musician” in the Norwegian County Møre and Romsdal.

In 2016 she will sing several great opera roles nationally and internationally.
She received great reviews for her role as Papagena in The Magic Flute (Mozart) at the Royal Danish Opera in January 2015. In the summer of 2014 she had her debut as Susanna in “Le nozze di Figaro» (Mozart) in Tylldalen in Norway and in 2013 she had her debut at the Royal Danish Opera in «The Cunning Little Vixen» of Leos Janacek.

Mordal sings mostly opera, but you can also find her singing both jazz and modern music. In the summer of 2015 she was cover as Lena in the opera SVADBA, written by Ana Sokolovic under the festival in Aix-en-Provence. She also sang at “Art and Creation Residency” where she sang modern music under guidance of Hillary Summers and Emmanuel Olivier.

Mordal is also an excellent Timani teacher and gives individual lessons and workshops in several countries.
